Cornwall Teaching School is launching a further programme of training sessions for Teaching Assistants in the new academic year.
Helen Argall, Cornwall Teaching School Lead, said: “Teaching Assistants are essential for the smooth running of our schools. They are sometimes under-valued which is a great pity so I hope that our training programme will be useful in allowing them to build upon their skills and for them to learn new strategies which they can implement in the classroom.”
Kate Flynn will deliver Behaviour Management training on 19th October and a Phonics session will take place with Tracey Matthews on 22nd November.
An Early Years training session has also been lined up with Nadia Lampier, Deputy Headteacher at Perranporth CP School on 21st February 2018.
The sessions will take place at Truro College from 1pm – 4pm and places cost £25 per person plus VAT. Terms and conditions will apply. Anyone interested in booking a place should contact Emma Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org
